Are you passionate about helping Democrats and progressives succeed? Do you have a good understanding of compliance, fundraising, and using digital tools to support campaigns? Do you have a knack for helping people solve problems? NGP VAN is a technology company whose team members do meaningful work that has a significant impact on promoting civil rights, social justice, and environmental responsibility. If so, we’d love to talk to you about joining the NGP VAN team at Bonterra. As a member of our client services team, you will serve on the front line of support for Democratic campaigns, parties, PACs, and progressive organizations using our tools.
- Support Democrats and progressives with exceptional customer-service skills.
- Conduct web-based training and get new customers up and running with our tools.
- Act as expert practitioners to enable clients to fulfill their social missions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated and passionate interest in Democratic and progressive politics and ideals.
- Good with technology and willing to work with various organizations.
- At least two years' experience working with compliance, fundraising, and/or email tools for political campaigns, unions, or nonprofits.
- Experience using NGP8, EveryAction, VAN, or VoteBuilder in a leadership role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilities.
- Professional phone manner and proven ability to self-motivate.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience teaching or training, including mentoring, tutoring, and/or software support (bonus).
- Experience in customer relations or an equivalent field is valued (though not required).
- Experience using NGP Classic or NGP7 in day-to-day responsibilities (bonus).
- Experience using the Mobilize platform (bonus).
- This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by CWA Local 1400, 2336, or 13000.
- Unable to consider candidates who require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.

The role involves receiving calls from patients and team members to perform and update coverage information within Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure accuracy for claim initiation. Responsibilities also include reviewing eligibility transactions, managing CRM requests, and updating guarantor accounts and hospital account records based on various inputs.
