Role Description

The Army Ground Training Analyst serves as the senior subject matter expert for Active Component ground training resource analysis. This role leads analytical efforts that assess Army unit training requirements and ensures that training resource needs are accurately represented within the Army Training Model (ATM) and related analytical tools.

This is a remote position.

  • Lead analysis supporting Active Component ground training resource requirements.
  • Oversee analysts responsible for evaluating training requirements and resource drivers across Army formations.
  • Ensure training resource data and assumptions are accurately represented in Army Training Model tools and related databases.
  • Analyze large data sets related to training requirements, force structure, and resource allocations.
  • Provide expert support for development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions and budget packages.
  • Coordinate with HQDA, Army Commands (ACOMs), and other stakeholders to validate training resource assumptions.
  • Provide briefings and analytical products that support senior Army decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience supporting Active Component training and training resource management.
  • Experience working with HQDA G-3 or ACOM G-3 training environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting the HQDA-level Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting POM and Army budget development at the HQDA level.
  • An active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Job Requirements
