• Conduct user-centered research and usability testing. • Create user flows, wireframes, visual styles, interaction design, UI components, etc. • Apply user-centered design processes to evaluate existing systems and contribute to new designs. • Effectively communicate design processes and findings to team members and stakeholders. • Select, apply, and support team members in using tools and standards such as the System Usability Scale (SUS), UI style guides, etc. • Oversee junior personnel in specific tasks, demonstrating an understanding of how various tasks and team member roles contribute to overall project success. • Independently manage complex tasks and collaborate with peers to achieve project objectives. • Lead and engage with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements and understand design needs. Lead the analysis of user interaction data to inform design decisions. • Create and maintain design mockups, prototypes, style guides, and design documentation. • Lead design reviews, facilitating the exchange of constructive feedback. • Foster a collaborative and user-centric approach within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development. • Advocate for User-Centered Design processes and mentor junior researchers. • Contribute to proposals and capture efforts.
