Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II – California | 100% Remote
Join EMPLOYERS, America’s small business insurance specialist! We’re seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II to manage moderate‑complexity claims—including medical, indemnity, and litigation—while delivering exceptional service.
This role supports West Coast hours (M–F, 8am–5pm PDT).
What You’ll Do
- Manage workers’ compensation claims from start to closure.
- Investigate claims, determine compensability, and set accurate reserves.
- Coordinate medical care and monitor return‑to‑work progress.
- Evaluate and pay benefits in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with defense counsel and proactively mitigate legal exposure.
- Provide outstanding communication and customer service throughout the claim lifecycle.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of workers’ compensation claims or insurance experience.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and multitasking skills.
- Solid understanding of workers’ comp statutes and compliance.
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU or similar certifications preferred.
Work Environment
- 100% Remote (U.S. only)
- Must have a quiet, private workspace
- Occasional travel for meetings
- Salary: $60,000–$84,000 + robust benefits package
