• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time for hourly and salaried employees, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes consistent with federal, state, and local regulations. • Maintain employee payroll records in Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Reconcile payroll data to general ledger accounts. • Prepare and submit payroll tax deposits and filings. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. • Stay up-to-date on payroll legislation and compliance requirements. • Assist with year-end payroll reporting (W-2, etc.). • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes and procedures. • Collaborate with the people department and other departments as needed. • Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned.
