Role Description
As a Project Manager at dv01, you will:
- Manage all lifecycle stages for a project post ideation with responsibility for ensuring that deliverables are understood and releases are delivered on time.
- Define and track success metrics that tie back to business outcomes, not just delivery dates.
- Partner with engineering teams to help translate technical requirements and system dependencies into actionable project plans.
- Ensure workstreams stay aligned and progress is clearly communicated across teams.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve project coordination, including synthesizing updates, generating documentation, and helping surface risks or dependencies across technical workstreams.
- Connect the dots of complex workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage key stakeholders across business, technology, and product while working closely with software engineers to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure the quality of project deliverables by working with all stakeholders to establish quality standards and monitor adherence to quality in day-to-day execution.
Qualifications
- Passionate and work experience in Project Management.
- 1-3 years of work experience successfully managing the launch of projects from end to end while adhering to deadlines, scope, and quality requirements.
- Experience working with data products and the underlying tools utilized for access and manipulation.
- Comfortable with technology and finance, with experience operating in a highly technical environment.
- Ability to translate technical discussions into clear project plans and stakeholder communication.
- Strong technical knowledge to effectively collaborate with development teams and ensure seamless project execution.
- Working knowledge of SQL or a programming language is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical curiosity and foundational understanding of software development concepts (APIs, system integrations, data flows, etc.).
- Comfortable working closely with engineering teams and navigating technical documentation or specs.
- Working knowledge of project management tools, preferably Jira.
- A minimum of 1-3 years experience working in an Agile environment.
- Detail-oriented with experience in creating project plans, tracking project performance, communicating status, and identifying risks.
- Strong business acumen to analyze team processes and identify bottlenecks.
- Effective communicator and self-motivated leader with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
