⚡️ Why Altium?

Altium is transforming the way electronics are designed and built. From startups to world’s technology giants, our digital platforms give more power to PCB designers, supply chain, and manufacturing, letting them collaborate as never before.

  • Constant innovation has created a transformative technology, unique in its space
  • More than 30,000 companies and 100,000 electronics engineers worldwide use Altium
  • We are growing, debt-free, and financially strong, with the resources to become #1 in the EDA industry

About the Role:

Duro is redefining how modern hardware teams build products. As now a part of Altium, Duro is investing deeply in Product Led Growth to bring the next generation of PLM for the masses.

This Product Manager role is focused on maximizing user adoption and engagement across the Duro PLM platform. You will own high leverage product surfaces and continuously look for opportunities to improve activation, usage, and retention through thoughtful product changes and experimentation.

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by adoption metrics, energized by iteration, and persistent about finding small but meaningful improvements that compound over time.

What You Will Do:

Drive Product Led Growth Outcomes

Own PLG initiatives that directly impact activation, engagement, retention, and expansion. Track adoption closely and proactively identify opportunities to increase usage through product improvements.

Continuously Optimize for Adoption

Relentlessly seek out friction in the user journey and experiment with incremental changes to improve conversion and engagement. Sweat the details and iterate until adoption moves.

Experiment Relentlessly

Design and run frequent A/B tests and experiments across onboarding flows, core workflows, and feature discovery. Use experimentation as a primary mechanism for learning and decision making.

Build for Scale

Design product experiences that perform well for a high volume of daily active users. Balance usability, performance, and reliability while maintaining a fast pace of iteration.

Simplify Complex Workflows

Break down sophisticated PLM concepts and workflows into intuitive, bite sized product experiences. Reduce cognitive load without sacrificing power or flexibility.

Leverage Data to Decide

Define success metrics, monitor product health, and use quantitative and qualitative data to guide prioritization. Obsess over leading indicators and adoption trends.

Partner Closely with Engineering and Design

Work hand in hand with engineering and design to ship improvements quickly and safely. Ensure experiments are well scoped, technically sound, and user centered.

Stay Grounded in Customer Reality

Combine data driven insights with direct user feedback through interviews, usability testing, and session reviews to validate what is actually driving growth.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with ownership of adoption or growth metrics
  • Strong background in PLG, experimentation, and A/B testing
  • Experience building products used by large numbers of daily active users
  • Proven ability to move adoption numbers through iterative product improvements
  • Ability to translate complex systems into simple, approachable user experiences
  • Highly data driven with strong product intuition
  • Bias toward action and continuous improvement

Why Join Duro at Altium

  • Help define the next generation of PLM for modern hardware companies
  • Work on a product used by teams building real, physical products at scale
  • Be part of a cultural shift bringing software velocity to hardware development
  • Collaborate with a deeply technical team passionate about changing the status quo
  • Opportunity to shape both product direction and industry thinking

The salary range for this role is $104,000 to $136,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
