Job Description
ISS Procurement Manager – Pharma & Life Sciences (Remote)
The Purpose
The Procurement Manager Pharma & Life Sciences is responsible for leading strategic procurement activities across ISS’s Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences client portfolio, with a strong emphasis on complex, regulated environments. This role drives sourcing strategy, supplier performance, commercial outcomes, and risk management to support critical client operations.
The position requires a commercially savvy, collaborative leader who can operate independently, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver measurable value across multiple accounts in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. This is a remote position, with occasional travel to client sites or ISS locations as required. (Around 10- 20% travel)
Dual Role Responsibilities
1. Client-Focused Procurement Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Lead the end-to-end procurement strategy for assigned client accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals, operational excellence, and cost efficiencies.
- Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and Client stakeholders to deliver measurable savings innovation, and service quality.
- Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, and governance across multiple categories, including critical and high-risk services.
- Develop category strategies and lead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations to deliver best-in-class value.
- Support client change initiatives, transitions, and scope modifications with effective commercial solutions
2. Supplier & Commercial Management
- Oversee supplier onboarding, performance management, and compliance within highly regulated environments.
- Lead supplier reviews, implement KPIs, and drive continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ensure contracts reflect appropriate service levels, pricing structures, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with Legal and Risk to maintain compliant master agreements and documentation

Essential Functions

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or professional certification (CPSM, CIPS) preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years in procurement or sourcing, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience managing large-scale supplier programs or preferred vendor frameworks strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and complex contract negotiations.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, or similar).

ISS offers full time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $95000.00 per year - $120000.00 per year Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
