Job Description
The Care Advocate Outbound I, reporting to Outreach Supervisor, is the trusted go-to resource who helps get members engaged with Transcarent and enrolled in targeted programs. You’ll have the opportunity to help members get the right care at the right time… no problem is too big or too small. A successful candidate will be effective at properly educating members on the benefits of Transcarent services while delivering a high quality member experience.
A day in the life…
- This is a full time position and general hours of work and days are: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm CST (10:00am - 7:00pm in EST / 7:00am - 4:00pm in PST / 8:00am - 5:00pm MST)
- Make at least 100 outbound, cold calls a day
- Deliver effective and enthusiastic communication to encourage and motivate members to utilize Transcarent's services and be proactive about their health
- Collect pertinent history from our members and triage to the appropriate frontline care team member
- Provide concierge level service with every member we connect with and establish a successful rapport to instill trust in our team
- Proactively communicate the benefits and the value of our service with every member contact
- Independently manages task load to support outbound and inbound interactions to and from our members on a daily basis
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
- Handle the General Engagement cases
What we are looking for…
- 1+ years employment experience in the customer service industry, the service industry, administration, or reception
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization
- Ability to thrive in a performance based environment
- Demonstrate high level of personal accountability
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment

As a remote position, the hourly pay for this position is:
$20.50/hour

Total Rewards
Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.
