Job Description
• Prepares and reviews federal and state tax returns for corporate subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Processes quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions, ensuring timely processing and adherence to deadlines.
• Partners with cross-functional teams and tax center personnel to gather information, resolve complex tax issues, and makes recommendations for process improvements.
• Stays current on changing federal, state and local tax laws.
• Assists in the preparation of detailed tax provision schedules and supports the overall tax reporting process.
• Analyzes complex financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Reviews, analyzes, and responds to notices from taxing authorities, ensuring resolution of tax issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs and tax software programs such as CorpTax or OneSource Income Tax.
- Oracle experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of (2) years of professional experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm.
