Job Description
• Lead the design, deployment, and post-implementation operational sustainment of PEO Digital Network Exchange Points (NXPs).
• Develop both unclassified and classified NXP architectures collaborating with a team.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including DISA, NMCI, NCDOC, and mission partners for network transition to NXP transport services.
• Conduct research and technical evaluations to support new NXP services.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including network diagrams and operation guides.
• Provide engineering support for network configuration changes required for Navy sites.
Job Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
- DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with extensive hands-on expertise supporting Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Palo Alto platforms.
- Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Navy network architectures and a strong understanding of their integration with NXP transport and design frameworks.
- Recent, hands-on experience deploying and supporting Type 1 encryption devices in operational environments.
- Proven experience coordinating, provisioning, and implementing DISA circuits within DoD network environments.
- Travel as required.
