Job Description
• Lead and support productivity improvement projects with field branches focused on install and service operations
• Partner closely with field leaders and ops teams to identify pain points, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Help drive project momentum by tracking milestones, holding contributors accountable for deliverables, and escalating risks as needed
• Support pilot programs and phased rollouts to test, refine, and scale improvements
• Support and, when needed, help facilitate Kaizen and rapid improvement events
• Assist with A3 problem-solving, including documentation of current state, future state, countermeasures, and results
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, streamline handoffs, and improve end-to-end process flow
• Work closely with IT partners on system enhancements, automation opportunities, and technology-enabled process improvements
• Collaborate with Central Operations, Billing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and other functional teams to ensure improvements align across the full value stream
• Act as a bridge between field operations and central ops teams, ensuring field realities are understood and addressed
• Document projects, decisions, risks, and outcomes using standard project and continuous improvement tools
• Track and validate financial benefits and productivity gains from projects, including entry and maintenance in EPM
• Prepare clear summaries and updates for leadership on project progress, outcomes, and realized benefits
• Ability to travel up to 25%
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in or closely with field branches (e.g., operations, service, installation, dispatch, scheduling, or branch leadership roles)
- Strong knowledge of field operations within install and/or service environments, including an understanding of day-to-day branch challenges
- Experience participating in, or leading process improvement initiatives, productivity projects, or operational change efforts
- Exposure to cross-functional work involving IT, operations, billing, customer service, or manufacturing
- Strong project coordination skills, including organizing work, tracking deliverables, and driving follow-through
- Comfort holding peers and stakeholders accountable in a collaborative, respectful way
- Proven problem-solving skills, techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the project execution.
- Courage to raise issues to upper management when a program is at risk.
- Credibility with field teams and the ability to build trust quickly
