Role Description

This position involves supporting multiple plants that print flexographic preprinted liner and acting as both a technical resource for box plants and a sales representative for third-party accounts.

• Responsibilities include profitably growing business, implementing value propositions with key customers, exceeding financial goals, and providing timely feedback on market, customers, and competitive activity.
• Work closely with the Preprint Sales Manager to develop and execute key account plans that generate profitable sales.
• Create market advantages resulting in the development of new accounts and growth of existing accounts.
• Understand the industry, market, customer requirements, and organizational capabilities to provide superior solutions and services.
• Collaborate with box sales reps, customer service, manufacturing, and design to resolve technical issues.
• Handle a broad range of complex situations or problems where no precedence exists.
• Exhibit innovative thinking and logic to anticipate and divert customer issues/problems.
• Utilize technical knowledge to assist in identifying and establishing product strategy and market direction.
• Maintain knowledge of strategic customer's operational practices and quality expectations with top priority accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business.
• High-graphic packaging or box plant sales experience a plus but not required.
• BA/BS Degree in Business or Packaging Science preferred.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time within the respective territory, with some overnight travel.
• Functional/technical skills in sales.
