Our team is a collaborative, results-driven, cross -functional team. We focus on partnering with top-notch Sales and go-to-market teams. Sales operations strive to enable, enhance, and improve our sales execution and productivity.

Partner with the best

You will serve as a key advisor and execution partner to the VP of Sales Operations. In this role, you will be the primary architect behind our global go-to-market engine. You will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring our global sales organization is structured, enabled, and empowered to meet our growth targets.

As Director of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the "right hand" to the VP of Sales Operations, translating executive vision into actionable, global operational roadmaps.
  • Helping design and drive the end-to-end global GTM strategy, including coverage models, territory design, and segment-specific expansion frameworks.
  • Partnering closely with Sales SVPs and regional leadership to provide forward-looking insights that drive resource allocation and strategic pivots
  • Serving as the strategic liaison between Sales, Finance, and Product teams to ensure business plans are translated into executable, high-productivity sales plans
  • Working with PMO & Enablement cross-functionally for things likes new product launches, market-entry strategies, and organizational restructuring

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 12 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree
  • Have a solid ability to synthesize complex data sets into strategic recommendations that drive executive decision-making
  • Have proven ability to manage complex, multi-quarter strategic initiatives from concept through global deployment
  • Have an exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus across a matrixed, global environment
  • Possess experience working with Excel and Tableau
  • Have demonstrated experience implementing best practices focused on delivering business results
  • Be a collaborative leader with the ability to manage a team and communicate effectively

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $151,800 - $273,200/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
