Role Description

In this role, you will design and develop automation solutions that improve internal operational workflows and enable teams to work more efficiently. You will collaborate with business operations stakeholders to understand requirements, build scalable tools, and integrate systems across the organization’s technology ecosystem. Much of your time will be spent developing automation, building dashboards or applications, and integrating internal platforms with third-party services. This position offers the opportunity to work close to innovative AI-driven initiatives while contributing to process optimization across fast-moving teams.

  • Design and build automation solutions that streamline operational workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop and maintain tools using enterprise productivity platforms and automation frameworks.
  • Create workflow automations, dashboards, and applications to support internal business operations teams.
  • Integrate internal systems with third-party applications and APIs to enable data exchange and workflow orchestration.
  • Write scripts and lightweight code to support automation, system integration, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions, solution design discussions, and implementation planning.
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes and propose improvements through automation and technical innovation.
  • Maintain documentation for automation workflows, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Ensure solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time according to project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing solutions using enterprise productivity and automation platforms, including tools such as identity administration systems, collaboration platforms, automation tools, and workflow platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and application development tools, including workflow automation, internal application development, and data visualization tools.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience integrating third-party applications or APIs with enterprise platforms.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with scripting or development, using languages such as Python, PowerShell, C#, HTML, or similar technologies.
  • Experience using modern development environments such as Visual Studio Code or similar tools.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently design and implement automation solutions.

  • Previous experience working in a solutions architect, automation engineer, or platform developer role.
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to solution deployment and iterative improvement.
  • Background in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments supporting business operations teams.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Salary Range

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $43.27 to $48.08 per hr. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
